LBFE gladly accepts a variety of in-kind donations to support our programming. Our most frequent year-long needs are cookies for Friendship and Flowers visits, and lunch or treats for our social events. We also accept donations of elder gifts to be distributed at our monthly birthday parties and during the holidays. Other needs arise from time to time as well. For a current list of needs, or to arrange a drop off, contact Michael at email@example.com or 612.746.0726.
Partnerships and sponsorships
LBFE partners with corporate and community groups in ways that build teamwork while supporting LBFE's mission. Groups can pick and choose what fits their needs and resources from any number of possibilities, including financial contributions for general or program support, special event sponsorship, skills-based assistance, and group volunteering. Memorials and tributes
Every donation we receive means so much to us, but we invite you to increase its meaning for you or another by designating it a memorial or tribute. We are more than happy to notify anyone of your gift, as well. Simply include instructions with your donation. Your gift can also commemorate a holiday, a birthday, wedding, anniversary, bar mitzvah, graduation, Memorial Day, Veterans Day, or other special occasion.
Workplace giving programs
Is your employer among the nearly 2,000 corporations that participate in the Greater Twin Cities United Way campaign? Or does your company have its own employee giving program? Designate your contribution to LBFE to help achieve your employer’s giving goals while also making a difference in the lives of older adults in the Twin Cities.
Even if LBFE is not listed as an agency partner through your giving program, you can write in our name. Be sure to include our complete name and address (Little Brothers - Friends of the Elderly/MN, 1845 East Lake Street, Minneapolis, MN 55407) along with the contribution amount.
